Kansas House of Representatives District 81 is the proud home of McConnell Air Force Base, the 22nd Air Refueling Wing, the 931st Air Refueling Wing, and the 184th Wing of the Kansas Air National Guard.

District 81 is in southeast Sedgwick County and includes parts of Derby; Oaklawn-Sunview; Wichita; and Gypsum, Riverside, and Rockford townships.

The Kansas Aviation Museum, Planeview Park, and companies such as Spirit Aerosystems and Cessna are here, reflecting our deep aviation heritage and expertise. Agriculture is also an essential part of our history and future, as demonstrated by the many farms and ranches in the district.
